Our property consists of two beautiful ancient stone houses, the one of your English hosts, Robert and Stuart, who live in the mill house, and the former barn, exclusively for guests, now skilfully converted into 4 adorable bedrooms and a family suite, each with its own luxury bath or shower room. There is also a comfortable sitting room, with satellite television and a kitchenette to make teas and coffees. New for 2008 is the internet point at guests' disposal.
The property expands for 6.5 hectares of beautiful lands in a sunny valley, with flower beds, lawns, terraces, tall shady trees, streams and a lake, unspoilt fields and woods. Situated in the golden triangle of Sarlat, Perigueux and Bergerac, the property is ideally placed to visit the various sites of the region, be it the pre-historic caves around Les Eyzies, 20 minutes drive away, or the Dordogne river chateaux, or the numerous honey-coloured villages and bastide towns scattered all over the Perigord.
ActivitiesWalkers will love the place and all the wonderful trails starting from there. The River Dordogne is a few minutes' drive away and offers swimming, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing and fishing. The nearest 18 hole golf course is 20 minutes away. Also available in the immediate vicinity are tennis courses and horse riding schools. |
