Description
In the core of Natural Regional Park of the Perche, with vista over the hills and woods, a castle and an ancient farm, our house dates back to XVI century. Labelled with 4 stars by Gîtes de France, is one of the 5 gîtes of “charme” of the department. The Perche Golf course (just opposite), riding schools, markets, promenades in the undergrowth and visits to historic castles, all these will provide for an unforgettable stay.
The house has independent access, a terrace exposed to south, a well cured independent garden, a wholly fitted ancient kitchen, 2 fridges, dishwasher, cellar, a wide hall with fire place (we provide for wood at low price), 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with bathtub or shower, floor heating, ancient furniture and carpets. Daily cleaning, all the necessary linen, breakfast upon request.
Also at guests disposition the ample barn where to organise big convivial dinners for up to 80 persons, with all that's necessary: tables, benches, dishes, napkins, all to be invoiced.

Surroundings
The Perche is a magic, wonderful region at 1h30 from Paris, miraculously preserved from the damages of civilisation. Nested at the fracture of Beauce, at the intersection of four departments and three regions, it maintains a unique heritage of richness and charm. Castles, forests, manors, woods and ponds, all these make Perche landscape. All the small towns of the surroundings, as for instance Nogent-Le-Rotrou, are rich of history, with unique churches, mansions and gardens.
Activities
We are in face of Perch Golf course (18 holes and a restaurant). There are many riding schools as well. Biking, walks in the forest mushroom picking and admiring the natural and historic heritage are the other main activities. |
Food, wine and crafts
Undeniably Perche is an area with its own gastronomy, based on simple dishes (blood sausage, pork, stew, fresh vegetables) that you can find in several welcoming typical markets in the villages of the outskirts. Many farms near our house use to organise “farm meals” or small fairs where its possible to by all these delicious products. On request we provide for breakfast with home made jams. |
