Description

Our structure, an ancient renovated farm, may guest up to 18 people in the very heart of the Regional Beauges Park. Each room has a private bathroom and a loft which creates some truly cozy spaces. The Neiges (snow) room has access for people with reduced mobility. The guests have at their disposal also a living area with a huge screen, Wi Fi, etc. The kitchen is fully equipped. A large chimney heats the atmosphere during the winters. There is direct access to the park and to the summer garden. There is a library overlooking the mountains, furnished with a comfortable couch, and which has a wide array of books. Moreover there is a shelter where the bicycles may be cleaned and stored, ski equipment or booths may be left to dry. A fully equipped room with video projector, screen, blackboard is likewise available as well as a room for seminars which is 35 square meters and which may hold 8-12 people. There is a parking place which may hold up to 10 cars, an equipped shelter where horses or donkeys may rest (with straw and hay at disposal).

Surroundings

We are in the Beauges Regional Park, only five minutes from the centre of Alberbville (train station, hospital, etc.). We are at the very foot of the Espace Diamant ski resorts and of the 3 valley ski resorts, 20 min from the Tignes one or 1h15m from the Val d'Isère ones. Only 10m from the Tamié hill and only a few kilometers for the Annecy and from the Bourget lake. Summer sports lovers may reach the summit of the Belle Etoile in only 2 hours.

In the winter, cross country skiing.
Swimming pool, walks, mountain climbing, baths, skating, cycling (9 different circuits start at the farm).
Cultural tours: eco-museum of Combe de Savoie, wine tour of the Savoie wines, Abbey of Tamié.

Food, wine and crafts

Regional specialties: Savoie wines (Chignin-Bergeron, Apremont..), cheese (Beaufort, Tomme de Savoie, milk, Savoie yoghurt, Diots (local sausages)...
In the house:
- On request, table d'hôte with local products.
- Complete breakfast with home made biological products such as marmalades, fruit juices...)
- Tasty snacks for when one returns from the different excursions (snow rackets, skiing, cycling..), for only an extra 8€.
- Evenings with sausages and white wine
