Description

Our ancient rural building was restored as guest house and gourmet stop while preserving the original rural character with its simplicity and contact with nature and with an ecological spirit.
We offer both simple and gourmet's dinners, prepared expressly with regional products and recipes all along the year, around the ancient fire place, in the terrace, patio or garden, according to your desire. We work as far as possible wit biological products.
The house has a great view on Cevennes, the tracks invite to discover the valleys in the surroundings, the evergreen live oaks grow together with wild thyme and herbs in a characteristic vegetation.
The entrance of the house leads us through a long vault to a covered courtyard, from here we enter the garden with its waterfall and its bathing pool, a dream place for bathing and and being lazy.

Surroundings

Cevenne's natural Park, mount Aigual, cirque de Navacelles, Bramabiou ravine, Bamboo wood of Anduze. Not far the cities of Avignon, NÎmes, Arles, Montpellier, the Camargue. The house is at approximately one hour from Mediterranean sea and Cevenne mountains.

Activities

Relax stays with massages by William's team, trained in different Asiatic traditions, or thematic stays to have a break.
Visit to monuments and historic sites of Provence and Languedoc. Moreover, contemporary art museum in Nimes et Montpellier, theatres, operas festivals of music and dance of Uzes and Montpellier.
Trekking, steam train, caves, bamboo woods, kayak in Ardeche gorges, byke, horse riding, golf in the surroundings.

Food, wine and crafts

Our advice is not to loose the peasant market of Ganges l'Herault or of the Halles de Nîmes.
Our home cuisine offers regional or international specialities with oriental spices for aperitifs, antipastos, main dishes, cheeses and desserts between originality and simplicity.
