Description
Our boat is a "Luxomotor" (a kind of dutch boat. 30mx40m), created in Furnes, in Belgium in 1939. In 2003 it has been restored with tree comfortable passenger cabin, every furnished with bathroom. In every season a sunny living allows to enjoy of the sight on Canal du Midi. Two terraces, first one for dining in summer, second oneto lounge to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.
On winter hot is assured by central heating and stove while on summer we have 220v clima. At your disposal a kitchenette (just to warm up meals), on demand table d'hotes and cruise (only in some days).
Passenger cabins guest 2 persons but we have another cabin with three bedrooms more extra in living for 11 eleven maximum.

Food, wine and craftsThe regional dish is Cassoulet (ragout with meat).Restaurant: various and it will be a pleasure for us to suggest you the best places according to your taste or accompany you if you have not car. In Etienne eating house (2km) you find the best Cassoulet of the region. Dishes are homemade in terracotta factory Not, close to boat. Our table d'hotes: in the small hall or in terrace, according to season.Regional menu or exotic food, wine and homemade bread. On reservation: 25 euro for person. The break: our friend's farm tractor offers you to deliver local cuisine meals on board according to the tradition. Full meal (not drink): 15 euro for person. |
