Description

In the verdant Limousin country we have "3 épis" on the guide. Our location is just on the river Vienne, between Limoges and Saint-Junien. The house is an ancient farmhouse with a wide terrace which overlooks on a garden with trees. House is furnished with a great stone fireplace and a loft.
For our guests we have at disposal 5 rooms (2 of them are a familiar suite) all with private bathrom and the chance to add another bed for children or adult (not in the wedding room). The evening, on reservation, we suggest a table d'hotes with regional food.

Surroundings

Not far there are historical site as Limoges, roman town e centre of artistic production of enamels, porcelains. The castle of Rochechouart, the Memory Centre in Oradour-sur- Glane, or the famous route of Richard the Lionheart are some of the most attractive place in the surroundings.

Activities

In a range of 8 km you can practice fishing, canoe, kayak, aquatic sports, trekking, cycling and horse riding.

Food, wine and crafts

On reservation table d'hotes (18 euro with wine and coffË. Half price for children). Payment in cash.
Limousin produces one of the most famous beef in Europe and is under influence of the Périgord for the fois gras and sweets.
In Saint Junien you find every kind of restaurants.
